Varjo and Force Technology offer VR training for mariners
Varjo has teamed up with FORCE Technology, a specialist in maritime simulation technology. The collaboration aims to provide advanced VR and XR training solutions to maritime customers worldwide, reducing the costs and logistical challenges associated with traditional maritime training methods. The VR training sessions will use Varjo's XR-4 VR headsets, which were launched last November. The partnership was formed in response to the shortage of skilled seafarers in the global shipping industry and aims to provide effective, affordable, scalable and easy-to-use training solutions.
