Report: Apple Vision Pro is set to launch in February 2024
Mark Gurman reports that production of the Vision Pro is running at full speed and that the mixed reality headset is set to launch in February, barring any last-minute hiccups. Gurman calls it the "most complex product launch" Apple has ever undertaken and discusses the many challenges of its introduction in his article. Gurman also writes that Apple is already working on the next version of the headset's operating system, visionOS, which will be rolled out along other operating systems next year. Vision Pro is the first entirely new product category for Apple since the launch of the Apple Watch in 2015.
