Rec Room hosts immersive music festival in virtual reality
Next weekend, the first immersive music festival will take place on the Metaverse platform Rec Room. What can you expect?
The "Rec Rocks" festival will take place next weekend from 11 to 12 March. Rec Room will present five immersive concerts each day in a virtual environment developed especially for the festival.
Rec Room: Free music festival for all
Admission is free for all Rec Room users. All you need to do is install the Rec Room app on iOS, Android, Steam or the Xbox One, Xbox Series, Playstation 5 or Playstation 4 consoles.
Those who want to experience the concerts in virtual reality need SteamVR-compatible PC VR glasses, Meta Quest, Quest 2, Quest Pro or Playstation VR. Rec Room is not yet available for Sony's current PSVR 2 headset.
If you have friends who are on different platforms, you can still watch the festival together. Rec Room is a cross-platform title, which means you will also meet users who enter the virtual game via different devices than you.
