Asgard's Wrath 2 is getting a steady stream of patches, but the long-awaited texture pack for Quest 3 is still not ready.
FACTS
Patch 3.1.1495959 for Asgard's Wrath 2 is live and adds a save menu which allows players to store up to five save files. It also adds as the ability to earn rewards for past Cosmic Events with Nova Stones.
The high-res texture pack promised for Quest 3 earlier this year is still in the works, but Meta hopes to show some example screenshots soon. In February, it was said that the texture upgrade could be more than 10GB in size. This would make Asgard's Wrath 2 one of the most storage-hungry Quest titles.
The patch also fixes numerous bugs.

- Nova Stones can now be used to craft items at Bes and Ptah. This allows players to collect rewards from prior events:
- Bes - Cosmic Event Customizations
- Ptah - Cosmic Event Armor and Weapons
- We have implemented the Save Menu which will allow players to store up to five save files.
- Achievements - Updated the Librarian achievement icon from 250 to 100.
- Fixed an issue where the Librarian achievement would get stuck at 99%.
- Players may need to start a new save file and obtain a Codex entry to trigger the achievement.
- Fixed issue in Newsfeed where the winning faction is always displayed as player faction in newsfeed after the Cosmic Event ends.
- Fixed an issue where the Grapple point fails to pull the player forward near the monster den 'Inferno's Leap' in the Drekahraun Lava Fields.
- Fixed an issue which prevented the anomaly in Papyrus Swamp - Overgrown Reservoir - 'Vicarious Thrills (S5S03)' to properly spawn.
- Fixed an issue caused by quitting the game before meeting Horus in the Temple Atum which caused the player to start in Ra's Abandoned Outpost unable to progress.
- Fixed issue where a Cursed Spirit fails to activate when entering and exiting Pause Menu or another room within the level after the spirit is hit by Mereret’s orb
- Fixed issue where followers are repeatedly quick reset when following the player down the slide traversal in the 'Nubian Shipwreck'.
- Fixed an issue in Papyrus Swamp - Perplexing Passage - where the bridge connecting the entrance and end of the 'Perplexing Passage' Monster Den will reset after reloading the title and the lever to activate it will be inaccessible.
- Fixed an issue in Drekahraun Lava Fields - Fortress of Flames - where the quest marker is misplaced for the first horn piece in 'The Southlands' during 'S5M03 - Battle Cry'.
- Fixed a text issue in Rift Dungeon - Cyrene - where an inconsistency is visible with Cyrene's 'Electric Discharge' ability on the Skill Tree menu and the 'Tidal Threat' Weaver Trial throughout 'Async Dungeons'.
- Fixed issue where a player can use a Wahka Totem to bypass a puzzle and retrieve the first gear in the Royal Observatory.
- Fixed News Feed issue where the text for 'Pushback Surging Chaos Complete! Order Won!' fails to list the items that the winning team obtained in the News Feed.
- Fixed an issue in Papyrus Swamp - The Shallows - where enemies stop spawning when a specific enemy is eliminated and then the player perishes while in the Fishing Village Ruins causing the gate to remain closed stopping progression.
- Fixed several issues where Loki Anomaly rifts spawned in the ground.
- Fixed an issue in The Shallows where enemies may spawn under map making the player unable to progress during The Cursed One quest due to inability to switch to God form.
- Fixed an issue in Drekahraun Lava Fields - Fortress of Flames - where progression in 'S5M03 - Battle Cry' can become blocked when entering the 'Fortress of Flames' before the final objective is completed.
- Fixed an issue where the Into the Multiverse Cosmic Event Sword Rewards relics fail to show on any sword rewarded from the 'Into the Multiverse' Cosmic Event throughout the title.
- Fixed an issue where the Codex entry for Surtur Shocker erroneously is present in the title.
- Fixed an issue where the Bruiser mini-boss out-heals the damage the player can do when affected by the "Enemy Heal" modifier in Uncharted Rift.
- Fixed an issue where a Fishing Spider enemy is stuck inside a wall on the path left of 'Papyrus Swamp' travel stone.
- Fixed an issue where players may be unable to see the fish swimming around in the water in the 'Lower Swamp Oasis'.
- Fixed an issue where Cosmic Guardian's skin clips through the pants of 'Golden Cherub Plate' on the paper doll and the mirror in 'The Inbetween'.
- Fixed issue where the Curse Spirit fails to trigger a scream to unlock wall switch when hit by Curse Slingshot in 'Sheltered Stash Monster Den' near 'The Red Chasm Gates'.
- Fixed an issue in Async Dungeons where the Weaver Trials 'Squid Attack' fails to progress as the user gets kills with the harp throughout Rift Dungeons.
