Next patch for Alien: Rogue Incursion on Meta Quest 3 released

Alien: Rogue Incursion is being further optimized on Meta Quest 3. A new patch is set to fix numerous problems.
The second patch for Alien: Rogue Incursion just landed on Meta Quest 3 and Quest 3s, bringing a wave of technical and visual improvements after a pretty rocky launch. Patch 1.02 isn’t a dramatic overhaul, but it does chip away at some of the game’s most glaring issues with a handful of targeted fixes and a few quality-of-life changes.
The headline addition is dynamic lighting for the warning sirens — finally delivering a bit of the atmosphere that was sorely missing. Survios has also rolled out a batch of performance tweaks and VFX improvements that should give the whole experience a little more polish. Crashes — those random, immersion-breaking moments — are supposedly less frequent, and some of the notorious bugs in Xenomorph behavior have been addressed, along with other general gameplay quirks. Visual glitches and oddities were also on the list and should be less of a distraction now.
Alien: Rogue Incursion had a rough time out of the gate on Meta Quest, with widespread complaints about performance and stability. Whether this second patch is enough to bring the game up to par remains to be seen, but it’s a step in the right direction.
